Monday’s Marinade: Ebola — Fear Not!

God says FEAR NOT!

Monday’s Marinade is a little different today…

After listening to the CDC’s press conference about the first transmission of the Ebola virus within the U.S., I thought I’d share this so that we remember Who we belong to and what His Word is able to do on our behalf.

Instead of speaking fearfully about this virus spreading in the U.S., believe and boldly speak God’s powerful Word!  Refuse to fear!

Soak yourself in this hope-filled Word of God that can stop Ebola in its tracks. Repeatedly think about this scripture and quietly say it to yourself.

Marinate and season your week with the hope this scripture contains. Have a confident expectation of good things happening!

Print out this graphic and place it somewhere to remind you to speak God’s Word of protection over yourself, family, and nation.

SHARE this post with your friends so that more of us are speaking victoriously in this global situation.

  1. Hi Evangeline!
Thanks for your post! FDR said the ONLY thing we have to fear is fear itself! Today, the news is all about spreading FEAR! It drives me crazy. Fox News is the worst in this area; it seems that the only thing they do is spread panic and fear. In fact, if FDR were alive today, he might say the only thing we have to fear is fear itself “and Fox News!”
It really is a shame because many people, especially the elderly, believe all of this nonsense… and it causes them very real harm, both physical and emotional.
    Best Wishes,
    Boston John

    1. John, thank you for commenting here! You’re so right—what we hear on the news and from others can definitely cause damage in our lives. We all should be more choosey about what we accept into our hearing and our thought life!

  2. Such a good and timely verse! I used to have this one written on a postcard in my bathroom as a reminder to myself. I might just need to put it up again. Thank you for sharing 🙂

    1. Elisha, I do the same thing! You should see my bathroom mirror—there’s a portion between my sink and hubby’s sink that’s covered with verses, quotes, and even devotional pages that remind us how to think and speak positively according to God’s Word. 🙂
