To give you the best experience possible, the infertility retreat has been rescheduled for the Spring of 2014.

Why you need to be there:

  • Gather with a small group of women who are also struggling with infertility but are looking for ways to avoid the pit of despair and some practical applications of HOPE.
  • Enjoy a weekend in an intimate setting at a beautiful location in Arizona.
  • Participate in no-pressure workshops that help you address the spiritual aspect of infertility and develop/maintain a hope-filled focus.
  • Take part in activities that will increase your joy.
  • Spend time being refreshed by God’s love.
  • Take advantage of a low registration fee. The cost of workshop materials, activities and 5 meals would be covered in your registration fee.

This is just the thing you need.

Fill out the form below and we’ll keep you posted with new details.

I Need Your Input

I am planning a retreat for women who desire some additional encouragement in the midst of infertility.

Your input would be much appreciated if you complete the poll below.  You will be helping me to craft a retreat that better meets your needs.

Please let me know if a time to get away and receive encouragement sounds like something you’d be interested in attending.

Here’s a synopsis of what that time might look like and other details you should know:

  • Gather with a small group of women who are also struggling with infertility but are looking for ways to avoid the pit of despair
  • Enjoy a weekend in an intimate setting at a beautiful natural retreat center in Arizona (tentatively scheduled for September 27-29, 2013)
  • Participate in no-pressure workshops that help you address the spiritual aspect of infertility and develop/maintain a hope-filled focus
  • Take part in activities that will increase your joy, and, most importantly, allow you to spend time alone with God the Father
  • Take advantage of a low registration fee. The cost of workshop materials, activities and 5 meals would be covered in the registration fee of $279.00.

How We Weather a Storm

Winter is usually not too cold in central Arizona. But this year’s winter has been decidedly different. Most of the plants in our front yard took a hard hit from below-freezing temperatures a few weeks ago. Take a look at this 7 foot tall victim:

If you look near the bottom of this plant, you can see that it had been a large and rather lush green bush before the freeze.  But now, because it did not have what it takes inside the bush to keep it from reacting to the extremely cold desert temperatures, it appears to be close to death. Major pruning will be required to bring it back to its once verdant and healthy state.

But just 10 feet away, in the same freezing temperatures, sat this pot of flowers:

These flowers emerged victorious! They weathered the storm VERY well—something inside of them kept them strong and almost non-reactive to the harsh circumstances.

Our lives can be the same way. We can weather the storms of life and come out damaged, messed up and not having anything that looks appealing about us. BUT, if we have something inside of us, or should I say Someone inside of us, we can weather the storms of life and come out victorious, looking unscathed and healthy, like these flowers did. We can continue flourishing and give others joy through the beauty within us.

We’re blessed to have a God and Savior who loves us and puts His Holy Spirit in us to aid us in all our times of need. It is He who enables us to weather the storm and yet flourish so that others will see that His exceptional love, attention, and grace are just what they need in their lives.
